Hellum’s Kitchen is a compilation of recipes that my family (the Hellum family) has tried and given the thumbs up to – I have two school aged boys and a husband with discriminating taste.  I try to look for recipes with great flavor, a variety of fresh ingredients, as well as health inducing benefits.  A home cook, I am certified in fine cooking from Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom in West Los Angeles.  We enjoy recipes from a variety of international origins, as well as traditional American fare – our family is multi-cultural.  Holidays in our home are marked with great food and tradition and these recipes are included here as well.  From teaching Pilates for several years, I know that what you eat goes hand-in-hand with your health every bit as much as a consistent exercize program.  Cooking well for my family brings me great joy and I’m excited to share my findings with you and look forward to your feedback!  Bon Appetit!
